Additional Medical Plan Options For 2025

As part of our harmonization efforts, Johns Hopkins Employer Health Programs (EHP) medical plans will be offered to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital employees.

In addition to Allegiance medical plans, you can choose from two Johns Hopkins EHP medical plans in 2025:

  • Johns Hopkins Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) Plan
  • Johns Hopkins Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan

These are the same medical plans we offer to other JHHS hospitals and member organizations. Visit 2025 Benefits Changes to learn more about the EHP medical plans.

Added Protection

If you want some added protection, consider enrolling in one or both of the following supplemental health care plans:

  • Accident Insurance: Pays a cash benefit directly to you for accidental injuries. You can use the money to help pay for some of the costs — both medical and non-medical related to your accident.
  • Critical Illness Insurance: Pays a lump-sum benefit upon the diagnosis of each covered illness.
  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance: Pays cash benefits that help pay for some of the costs — medical and non-medical — associated with a covered hospital stay due to a sickness, pregnancy or accidental injury.
