Allegiance Medical Plan Programs

The following programs are available if you’re enrolled in an Allegiance medical plan:

  • MDLIVE virtual doctor visits: Connect with a doctor 24/7 who can diagnose and treat symptoms and prescribe or refill medications. This service costs $20 per visit (doesn’t apply toward deductible). Start a visit online or call 877-753-7992.
  • Blueberry Pediatrics virtual care: Connect with board-certified pediatricians 24/7 by phone, video or text when your child is ill or if you’re looking for advice. This service costs $0 if your children are under age 18 and covered under your medical plan. Sign up for Blueberry to receive a free kit with all the tools you need.
  • Maternity management program: Contact Allegiance to get guidance and support from a personal maternity nurse by phone or secure email before, during and after your pregnancy. This program is available at no cost, and you’ll receive a $25 gift card upon completion of the program.
  • No-cost prescription drug programs: All our medical plans offer no-cost programs for specialty, asthma and diabetes medications.

Johns Hopkins Employer Health Programs (EHP) Medical Plan Programs

The following programs are available if you’re enrolled in an EHP medical plan:

  • OnDemand Virtual Care: Video visit with a health care provider 24/7 for non-emergency care such as colds and flu, respiratory infections, rashes and more. This service costs $0. Start a visit online or download the Johns Hopkins OnDemand app (App Store | Google Play ).
  • UpLift virtual mental health care: Schedule virtual appointments with in-network therapists and psychiatrists as early as the next day and no further out than two weeks. Join UpLift .
  • Care coordination: When facing health challenges, contact EHP to get help managing your transition of care and coordinating care for complex issues and behavioral health, plus support through pregnancy and early parenting.
  • Specialty appointment line: Call 866-206-7210 for help facilitating timely appointments for specialty care with preferred providers.
  • No-cost prescription drug programs: All our medical plans offer no-cost programs for specialty, asthma and diabetes medications.

Naviance: Cancer Prevention, Navigation & Support

Naviance (formerly known as Work Stride) helps you, dependents and caregivers navigate the cancer journey. This Johns Hopkins Medicine program is confidential and free to all employees – even if you aren’t enrolled in a medical plan.

Through Naviance, you have access to:

  • Nurse navigator support for early detection and screens, managing a diagnosis, balancing treatment and work, financial impacts, caregiving and survivorship.
  • Employee and caregiver resources about types of cancer, screening and prevention, treatment, coping, finances and more.
  • Manager resources for supporting and managing employees who have cancer or are caring for someone with cancer.

You can also attend monthly support groups that answer questions and offer cancer-related information.

  • Employee Support Group: 12-1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month. Join on Zoom .
  • Caregiver Support Group: 12-1 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month. Join on Zoom .
